We are not supposed to play favorites, however, Zane thinks this is one of the best wines he has tried all year- anywhere (and he tries a LOT of wines). This exceptional wine, passionately crafted by winemaker Luis Soria and viticulturist Gonzalo Testa, is a masterpiece from the heart of Uco Valley, Mendoza. The deep, inky red with dark purple edges hints at the richness within. Intense and spicy on the nose, it reveals red and black fruits in an elegant, complex aroma. The taste is a symphony of elegant tannins, freshness, and density of fruit, leading to a long, satisfying finish. This wine, aged for 29 months in new French oak barrels, epitomizes boldness and finesse. Sourced from La Consulta vineyard at 3600 feet above sea level, it showcases the clay sandy loam soil's unique character. With only 100 cases produced, and an aging potential of 20 years, this Malbec is a rare gem for connoisseurs. Paired perfectly with red meats, red sauces, roasted vegetables, and chocolates, it's an invitation to indulge in an extraordinary culinary journey. Join us in savoring the epitome of Argentine winemaking artistry.
This wine family, led by Luis Soria (winemaker) and Gonzalo Testa (Viticulturist), grew up in the vineyards and is sharing with us some amazing wines. On several occasions we have had the honor of sharing an asado (bbq) with these families and enjoyed their wines together. Not only are they one of the most likable families around, all of their wine is of excellent quality. It was very, very difficult to pick only four wines to import.

It was there that he discovered his love for the land, grapes, and wines. This prompted him to pursue a formal education in the field, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Enology and Viticulture at the prestigious Juan Agustín Maza University, Mendoza, Argentina.
After completing his academic training, he began to forge his career in various renowned wineries and companies such as- The Vines of Mendoza, Corazon del Sol, and Michell Rolland Wines. Additionally, he expanded his horizon by working abroad, gaining valuable experience in the United States, specifically in Willamette Valley, Oregon, and Napa Valley, California.
Luis, a quickly rising star in the Argentinian wine industry, decided to embark on his own path as an oenological advisor and founded, together with his partners, of three wineries in the Uco Valley that bear his distinctive seal: Chañar Lorenzo Estate Winery, Delator de Sueños Wines y Dharma Wines.
